Hi and Welcome to our brand new website. Over the coming months I hope to add as many photos as possible, mostly as a backup, but also so that others can keep up. Special Thanks to Dick for putting me onto this site 15th of June 2008 ***Update*** Wow its been like over six months since I have added anything. So I thought that I would announce that I have added more photos under “USA”. That may not seem all that impressive, however its in the region of 8000 files and a little under 1gig of data., all on a 128kbit (if I’m lucky, more like 80-100kbit) upload “broadband” connection. Its taken me 2 days to upload it all. Please be patient some of the files take over 1 minute on our “broadband” connection,( 3.6Mbits (approx)). Be warned this site is not designed for you dialup types. I’m sorry but you will also need Adobe Flash player plug-in installed in your browser. It will prompt you if you don’t have it. Its what Photoshop uses to make these wizy-do photo albums for publishing online. I have finally worked out how to make the images bigger using Photoshop v5. Its all in replacing the images in the “large” folder with the originals resized to 1000x700 (approx). To view the larger files, there is an icon just below the picture displayed, it’s the leftmost icon, click that and the image should get bigger. I know what you are thinking “it sure took you long enough”, but we have been having fantastic weather coming into winter and I have been busy working and restoring Sharron’s old Mazda MX5 (or Miata for you American types) which has now become my daily runner. If you want any copies you will need to ask, as you will not be able to copy them by right clicking. Because of the additional fiddling to get the larger images it still maybe more time before I get most of the images up. Please be patient Kris 2nd Dec 2007 ***Update*** I have added photos to Austria. As a trial I am using Adobe photoshop6 to create a slide show. I have no idea how long it will take to load the images. In the coming months I will be streamlining the application to display photos, then I will upload photos on mass. Your patience is appreciated Cheers, Kris |
